Resolution Copper is ISO 14001 Certified

As part of Resolution Copper’s focus on environmental excellence, the company sought and received ISO 14001 certification of its Environmental Management System – the plans, policies and procedures by which we manage and continually improve our work in the environment. The company earned certification in November 2007 from DNV, an internationally recognized auditing firm.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) helps establish a set of common rules that support international trade and ensure that companies operate ethically and responsibly. ISO 14001 is the recognized international standard for achieving environmental excellence. ISO 14001-compliant Environmental Management System highlights.
  • Our ISO Environmental Management System is now part of the larger Rio Tinto Health, Safety and Environmental Management System and will benefit from our parent company’s knowledge of and commitment to environmental responsibility globally.
  • We’ve developed and implemented procedures to govern aims management consultants approach to the environment. These cover our approach to land use and habitat, waste management, air quality management and water quality management.
